Update Prayer and Praise Letter Dec. 2014

O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord. Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.”

(Psalm 105:1-4)

Dear Brothers and Sister’s in Christ,

I am overjoyed to share with all of you that God is answering your prayers in the matter of my finances for school! Sunday, I received a $100 dollar offering and yesterday, a dear couple at the church, I am serving at while in school, paid the rest of what I owed this month. Making my first semester completely paid off.

I do not have words to describe how thankful I am to God and to all of you for your many, many prayers on my behalf. God is so good and so gracious to me, even though I fail Him so much. All I want is to love Him more each and everyday and to be that broken and surrendered vessel, that He may flow and shine through me for His glory. Living by faith is such an awesome experience.

Lord willing, my family and I will be traveling to Green Bay for a Christmas get together with my mom’s side of the family and we also have a meeting to present our ministry in Brazil on Sunday. Please pray that God would give us opportunity to show, and share Christ while we are there.

God bless you all for your faithfulness in prayer and may God bless each one more then I have been blessed for the glory of God.

In Christ’s love,

Christmas Prayer and Praise Letter 2014

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I am officially on Christmas break! My heart is overjoyed to be spending time with family and relatives in Petoskey and Green Bay, Wisconsin but I am also already missing my WalkRight family.

A few days before we left for break, we had our student body chapel. It was an awesome time of singing songs and sharing testimonies of how God has worked in our hearts this semester. God is so good! I hope and pray that all the students this semester will be able to come back, Lord willing. I am also excited about the 6 new students that are planning on coming as well.

I just wanted to write this brief letter to wish all of you a very Merry CHRISTmas and pray that during this time we would be asking and seeking for opportunities to share about Jesus. That is my desire this Christmas break.

I would also like to ask you all to be praying that God would supply some work and/or love offerings for the rest of my school bill this month and also my next big down payment for next semester. I believe with all my heart that God will supply but I need your prayers. God has proven and shown me so many times and in so many ways that WalkRight is where He wants me and I have seen Him work in me greatly through the classes and people there. He has given me many opportunities to encourage and strengthen the students by example and by sharing of God’s work in my life to them. God has shown Himself faithful, patient, longsuffering and powerful in the way He has worked in and through us. God is amazing! Please pray that I would remain faithful as He prepares me for future ministry, possibly in China.

If you feel God directing you to help me financially, please send it to:

Praise and Praise Letter December 2014

Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;”

(Psalm 33:18)

Dear Brothers and Sister’s in Christ,

I am overwhelmed by the continual and divine work that God has done in my life in the past month.

We had a class on Daniel and Nehemiah with Pastor Crawford and it was an amazing week. I learned so much and it was such a blessing to see the honest, transparent and caring heart for God and to us students. At the end of the week God did a great work in me. At the end of our last class, I was feeling my heart getting hard and feeling confused. So, I took off work that day to spend extra time alone with God. I knew something was wrong but did not know why. As I sat on my bed, I didn’t know where to begin or what to say to God. Then, I started to write out a prayer to God and everything came into focus again and He brought things to mind that was in my heart that I didn’t even realize was there. God made my heart soft again and brought tears to my eyes once more. So many times I let myself get so filled with knowledge but yet didn’t take the time to meditate on what I am being taught, talking to God about it , and to let Him transform me with it. God is amazing! I am so grateful for His special and continual work in me. I am so grateful He never gives up on me.

God also blessed by allowing me to be with my family for Thanksgiving. It was a blessed time. A Brazilian couple that are good friends and my parents language teachers in Brazil came that week to spend Thanksgiving. It was a great time. I also got some work as well to help a little with my bill. 🙂

I got to school and that week we had a whole class just for the girls. It was on Lies Women Believe. It was a great help and blessing. It was a great time to share and ask girl questions and get some counsel from a godly woman who really showed her care and love for us. I was truly blessed. We also had a Christmas banquet that was so beautiful and a lot of fun.

God is also blessing with finances. I owed over $500 this month. Now it is down to $264.34. Praying by faith the rest will come in.

Thank you so much for all your prayers and help. May God give everyone a blessed Christmas as Christ as our focus. God is amazing!

In Christ,

Prayer and Praise Letter – November 2014

I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies. Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.”

(Ps. 119:125,38)

My dear friends and brethren,

God continues to instruct and bless in a mighty way by the teaching and preaching of God’s Word this last month.

We studied the life of Abraham, Jacob, and David. I was reminded about the faith that Abraham displayed in His life. I saw that God may test our faith and trust in Him by putting tests in our life to see if we will step out in to the unknown, by faith, and then, He will act. God blesses our faith and He blesses beyond what we can see. I saw that there are times that I need to step back and look at what God is and has done and praise Him even if I don’t completely understand. I pray that my walk will grow in more dependence and faith in Him every day.

We had a class of theology that was excelent. Our last class was Christianity and American History. That was full week because we also went to the IFBF meeting that we sang at. While we were there God spoke greatly to my heart and my dad surprised me by showing up at the meeting to see us sing and enjoy the wonderful preaching. It was a long day but such a blessing!

This week we are having spirit week and as you can see by the picture above that day was Nerd day. 🙂 It’s a week of fun, catch up on homework, and some pratical classes by some of the staff.

God is teaching me so much and has given me so many unique opportunities to witness and encourage people around me in the Lord.

The church I am serving at has been a blessing and many people have “adopted” me and have been able to spend many afternoons at several houses of some dear ladies that have truly spoiled me and have shared great many hours talking about God’s wonderful work in our lives.

Please continue to pray for God to supply for my bill. This month I owe about $37 dollars. Next month I will need about $650. Please pray that God will supply and for me to possibly get some jobs during Thanksgiving and Christmas break.

Thank you so much for your prayers and for those that have helped financially. I know that God will continue to supply my needs and can’t wait to see how God will meet them.

Love you all in the Lord.

In Christ,

Noeli Weinert

Praise and Prayer Letter October 2014

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me. “

(Psalm 63:1.8)

Dear Brothers and Sister’s in Christ,

I am thankful, beyond words, for everything God has done in my life this past month. My first week here I prayed that I would not just know of Him but to know Him, His Person.

God is slowly revealing more of Himself to me and it’s wonderful. God is amazing and yet I still know so little of who He really is.

My first class, Living According to Biblical Truth, was a great class. We studied several people who chose to follow and obey God and those who didn’t and there consequences. The person that impacted my life the most was the life and character of Phinehas in the book of Numbers. He was a true man of integrity and was greatly used by God. May God make me a woman of integrity and godly character each and everyday. That my life would make others choose to love God and serve Him more.

My second class was on Colossians and Philippians. That week the class and circumstances of life taught me a lot of valuable things about God and saw that through the suffering of Paul, God’s name was truly magnified and the Gospel was spread to places and people he would not have a chance to take if it were not for him being in prison. Through his suffering, more believers were encouraged in their faith and were more bold for Christ. I am so thankful when God tests me and puts me through fire so that He may be glorified in a greater way in my life and for His glory.

Last weeks class, Theology Proper, which is the study of God and His names, was a mind blowing week. We studied and saw a lot of things! We saw how grand God is and the universe that He created just for us with a spoken word. We saw the names of God and there meanings. We saw ways that God reveals Himself to us and so much more. I am reading, The Pursuit of God, by A.W. Tozer. God is teaching me so much through this man’s testimony and the truths of God’s word learned and applied in his life.

Prayer requests:

-Please continue to pray that God would break, mold and stretch me more into the image of Jesus.

-Pray for the Revival meetings at the church I will be serving at this year. God is starting to move in a great way.

-One thing that God wants me to learn to do more is to be in prayer more and be in more constant contact with Him and be in His Word more.

-Please pray for all the students here this year.

– Pray that God will continue to supply my every need and to trust in Him.

-Pray that God will give me opportunities to encourage, share Christ, and disciple others.

Thank you again for all your prayers. May God continue to bless and use you all for His glory.

In Christ,

Noeli Weinert

September 2014 Praise and Prayer Letter

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;”

(Colo. 1:9,10)

Dear Brother’s and Sisters in Christ,

By God’s grace and goodness, I have arrived at Walk Right Baptist Bible Institute. I got my Syllabi and to be honest, I am feeling a little overwhelmed but was reminded that “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” God is already working in my heart in a great way. We had our first service and I asked God to stretch, break and mold me in a great and new way this year. I want to really know God more personally and shine more for Him the more I die daily to myself and let Him rule and live in me.

I am slowly getting to know the students and am adjusting to dorm life. I know more then ever that God has a plan for me here and will use it to prepare me more to serve Him wherever He leads me.

Please pray that God will give me strength, understanding, wisdom, and opportunities to serve Him here while I do my classes. God bless!

In Christ,

Quick Update – Mid-August

godwhosupplies

Dear Brethren,

I am 18 days away from starting my second year at WalkRight Baptist Bible Institute! I am so excited!

God has supplied for my down payment, books, and first monthly payment due in September.

I will continue to walk by faith and work where I can. God has supplied until here, I have no doubt that He will supply the rest.

Two Sundays ago, I was invited to share my testimony and desire for missionary work at a small but dear church with a heart so big for missions.

I was nervous but God helped me share His wonderful work in my life and had a blessed time getting to know the people there. They gave such a generous offering to help with school. I am eternally grateful for God using this dear church to help me get a little closer to getting to the mission field.

I will share more in my next Praise and Prayer letter. 🙂

God bless!!!!

Praise and Prayer letter – August 2014

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

(Hebrews 11:1)

Thinking back on this month, I am amazed at how God has worked in my heart, for the wonderful opportunities of ministry He gave and how He has provided many, many things as well.

A couple letters ago, I had mentioned prayer for a young lady that God has put in my path to be able to help spiritually and that was thinking of going to Walk Right Baptist Bible Institute with me this fall. God gave me an opportunity to do a Bible study with her in Proverbs 2. It was a wonderful time and God taught us some great truths to apply to our lives. Please continue to pray that God will become her number one priority in her life.

One Sunday, a friend of mine gave me an opportunity to take her Sunday School class and as I was praying for direction, God directed me to teach on the life of Hudson Taylor and how he prepared to go to China. God laid it on my heart to give the children a chance to go to a few neighbors and give some tracts and talk about Jesus together after the church service. They were so excited for this opportunity. I pray that God will give them an increasing desire and burden to share Christ to friends, neighbors and relatives.

I have continued to travel with my parents to many supporting churches, sharing what God has done in Brazil. During these travels God has provided for our family and also have had hours and hours in the car to be able to have a lot of instruction and teaching together in God’s Word. Valuable and precious times.

God has proved Himself faithful, as always, in providing for my needs and also some wants too. God has provided jobs and I almost got what I need for the downpayment and books. I will continue to walk by faith each month but I am confident that God will take care of me, like He always has. God is so wonderful!

God provides our wants too. A lady and dear friend who has survived cancer, paid for me to get a haircut and also took me to a store and bought a bunch of clothes for school. I don’t have words to describe my thankfulness and gratitude to the Lord. God is so wondeful, even so undeserving. Thank you for taking the time to hear again a little of what God has done. God bless!

Prayer and Praise Letter July 2014

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalm 16:11

Dear Brothers and sister’s in Christ,

I wanted to thank all of you once again for your prayers and helping me find work to be able to go back to Walk Right Baptist Bible Institute in the fall.

God is supplying many jobs while I am also traveling, teaching, writing, and ministering to others with my family. God is so good!

My family and I did some traveling to Michigan, visiting some churches and was able to lead 4 children under 12 to the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord for His wonderful work! On the way to our churches, we were able to stay with dear friends, that I met at Walk Right Baptist Bible Institute my first year, and stayed with family during our time there. What a blessed time!

During this time, God has been teaching and showing me a lot of things about Him and His truth. One of the things God taught me, I was able to put together in words and share on my blog, which was called, Fulfillment of My Deepest Longings. Feel free to check it out at: https://pursuingproverbs31.wordpress.com/2014/06/08/fulfillment-of-my-deepest-longings/

I also have been keeping a journal of my journey with the Lord and hope that one day God will use my writings to lead people to Christ and help many with their walk with God. There is nothing better than using our talents and spiritual gifts for the Lord.

May God continue to bless, guide and use us all, as we seek to love and serve Him daily.

In Christ’s service,

Noeli Weinert

Prayer and Praise March 2014

love-scriptures-love-quotes-king-james-bible-kjv

Dear Praying friends and supporter,

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;”

(I Thess. 1:3)

… your work of faith…”Living by complete faith in God is the greatest thing you can ever experience!

My greatest desire for my life is to completely depend on God and God alone. Since 2006 when we had to sell our house to help pay some of the hug medical bills we had, and still have, when my mom got Fibromyalgia, we have been depending completely on God to supply a place to live. God in His great love and mercy has supplied multiple places through out these years for us to stay without paying a penny of rent. Did God do it because we deserved it? Absolutely not! The more I study God’s Word the more I see what a sinner I am. A few months ago, we found out that the house that was given to us to use for several of years, needed to be sold. We had no place to go and God was working greatly in a new group of people in a near by neighborhood. People where getting saved and God was and is doing amazing things! So, what are we going to do? Where are we going to live? We started asking God to supply a place for us. God answered and supplied a place in the US. We didn’t want to leave for furlough then, but God has a reason. We sold many of our things to be able to buy our tickets and got packed for a furlough. Since, I got here God has just showed His kindness to me in such a great way.

I am planning and praying about going back for my Second Year at Walk Right Baptist Bible Institute in the fall. I don’t have money to go but I know that God will supply for me to go if He wants me there. He supplied last time and I know He will this time too. 🙂 Please pray that God will supply for the down payment I must pay and for my books. My hearts desire is to serve as a full time missionary. I am still not sure where yet, but I am praying that God will show me soon. In the mean time, I serve wherever God puts me. We are a missionary wherever we are. We just have to be willing and fully surrendered to His will.

…your…labour of love…” My greatest desire is to walk near and have a close relationship with God. To love what He loves and to love like He loves. It is a battle, each and everyday, to crucify the flesh and surrender my members to Him, but when I do God does great things in and through me for His glory. I can get no credit because everything good that comes through me is entirely from Him. In us is no good thing. My prayer is to love Him supremely everyday and to love others through His love. Please pray that God would do whatever it takes to accomplish that goal in me for His glory.

…your…patience…” Sometimes it is so hard to be patient for something you desire so greatly. God is helping me to be patient for some great desires of my heart. There are times when I want it so badly to come now, but God tells me deep down in my heart, “wait…. everything has its time and purpose…be patient…I promise to supply everything you need in its right time… wait on Me…” In time of waiting, God does not want us to just sit there and do nothing. God wants us to prepare and serve Him. Let God mold you and prepare you for what He has created you for. We all have a purpose, special gifts and talents to use for God. Surrender all of them to God and ask Him to lead you and use you for His glory. Hold nothing back. Give all of yourself to Him.

May the God of the impossible do the impossible in and through you for His glory!!!

In Christ,

Noeli Weinert
