First of all, only God gives us the desire and power to do His good pleasure. We do not naturally seek or understand God and His thoughts and ways.
We can’t truly love, please, and serve God without full surrender to His Person and being controlled and filled by the Holy Spirit within us.
Galatians 2:20 says,“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
The biggest thing that God has been teaching me this year is to love Him with ALL my heart, to have complete and undivided love and devotion to Him.
Matthew 22:37-40 says, “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
So, how do I love the Lord with all my heart? I must walk or live like Jesus. In order to live like Jesus, we must spend time with Him. Get to know how He thinks and how He acts. Take a look at this chart “Walking With God”.

A big problem we have is to not relax and just enjoy being a Christian!
Lets stop worrying about tomorrow and our future. Seek His will, His direction, obey it, and trust God for the rest.
Psalm 37:1-7 says, “Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the Lord,…”
We must be completely commit to God. I will follow Jesus. No turning back. No turning back.
We must decide each day to put Him first and do His will.
Then, God will truly bless our lives.
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.”
